Tuolumne,CA — Construction on the Black Oak Casino Hotel in Tuolumne has made a lot of progress.
Black Oak Casino’s Marketing Director, Al O’Brien says that the outside of the building is nearing completion which puts them into a good position to finish the inside this fall and winter.
O’Brien says they are finishing 3rd floor will be laying the 4th floor and walls soon and then the roof.
When complete the hotel’s 148 rooms will be spread out over the three floors and include 16 suites. There is also 6,000 sq feet of conference space which can accommodate 200 people in the building.
The four story building is on schedule to be complete in Spring of 2013.
The Tuolumne Band of Mi Wuk Indians still has plans to construct a nearby golf course and less than a hundred brand new homes, but those projects are likely a few years away.
