Update: Storm System Leaves PG&E Customers Without Power

Update at 10:15am: Columbia College reports that the power was restored on campus earlier then expected. Any classes scheduled for noon or later will be held today. College services will also resume at noon.

Update at 6:50am: Columbia College’s main campus is without power this morning, so there will be no classes until 1pm. Online and offsite classes will take place as normal.

Original story posted at 6:20am: Columbia, CA — The storm system passing through is leaving behind some PG&E customers without electricity.

The company reports that 332 are impacted in the Columbia area, along Parrotts Ferry Road, Sawmill Flat Road and Highway 49. The plan is to have everyone there restored by 12:30 this afternoon. In San Andreas, along highways 12 and 26, there is an outage impacting 81 customers. PG&E hopes to have those customers restored by 7:45 this morning. There are also 21 customers without electricity northeast of Mokelumne Hill that should be restored by 8am.
