Tuolumne County’s Future

Sonora, CA — This weekend’s Mother Lode Views will focus on the future of Tuolumne County with youth representing Sonora and Summerville High Schools.

A panel of graduating seniors will weigh in on issues facing teens, and give their opinions about what could be done to make the community more inviting for young adults. They will speak on topics like student drug use, bullying, college, transportation, night life and jobs.

The panel of guests will include Summerville High Seniors Ian Britton and Rebekah O’Kelley, along with Sonora High Seniors Justine Abbott and Luke Haughton.

The four are student leaders and take part in numerous extracurricular activities.
