An Alert For Area Motorist

Sacramento, CA — Expect a lot of motorcycles on the road this summer and we mean millions of them.

CHP is asking you to double check for bikers and share the roadways as California is home to more than one million licensed motorcycle riders.

361 people died and 11,000 were injured in motorcycle accidents in 2010 which is the most recent data available.

CHP has 120 training sites through California and encourages riders to take one of their courses on safety.

For information on those courses click here.
