Caltrans Work on HWY 4

Angels Camp, CA — The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) began work today on Highway 4 between Angels Camp and Copperopolis.

According to Caltrans Spokesperson, Angela DaPrato, one-way control traffic begins at 7:00am and is scheduled to last through Friday, May 4th, until 3:00pm.

The part of Highway 4 that will be worked on is between Hunt Road and Pool Station Road. For a map of the area there is a Google map here.

Motorists should expect 15 minute delays, and take alternate routes whenever possible.

Weather could slow or delay the work, the 7 day forecast calls for mostly and partly sunny conditions.
