A Winter Storm Warning remains in effect for the Sierra Nevada through 4 PM Thursday.
According to the National Weather Service, two to five inches of snow is expected above 3000 feet. An additional eight inches of snow is likely above 5500 feet.
Winds of fifteen to thirty mph are possible with gusts up to forty mph over the highest ridgetops.
