A solo vehicle accident occurred Monday afternoon on Highway 4 near Big Trees Parkway.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident took place shortly after 3 PM.
A pick-up truck collided with a tree and then blocked the westbound lane of the highway.
An unidentified occupant was life flighted out of the area around 3:20pm.
