Power Outage Numbers Dwindling

The lights are slowly turning back on for many PG&E customers across the Mother Lode.

Tuolumne County still has around 1,800 customers without power. They are primarily in Pinecrest (1,200) and Strawberry (460). Most of the customers in Twain Harte have been restored and only 80 are still without electricity in the Sonora area. PG&E hopes to have all of the Tuolumne County outages restored by sometime this afternoon.

There are only 350 customers still without power in Calaveras County. A power pole broke resulting in 270 West Point customers without electricity and an additional 70 in Railroad Flat. PG&E says the estimated restoration time is 8:15pm.
