Sonora, CA — The Tuolumne County Supervisors will talk about the open District Attorney’s position.
On Tuesday the Board will discuss the process of appointing a new DA. Donald Segerstrom’s last day is Friday, as he has accepted a Tuolumne Superior Court Judge position. The Board has the option of appointing someone Tuesday, or to start requesting applications from interested people. If a DA is not selected Tuesday, Deputy District Attorney Mike Knowles would automatically become acting DA until a permanent replacement is found. Tuesday’s meeting begins at 9am in downtown Sonora. It will be streamed live in the multimedia section of myMotherLode.com.
Segerstrom’s position is up for election again in 2014.
