T.U.D. Emergency Repair

Columbia, CA – Tuolumne Utilities District (T.U.D.) crews worked until 2a.m. Friday morning to repair a major 10 inch main line water break. It happened around 3:40 yesterday afternoon on the east side of Parrotts Ferry Road at the intersection of Union Hill Road off of Highway 49. T.U.D. reports the break washed away a large hole and crews had to dig about 10 feet deep and 12 feet in diameter to repair the area. It took crews nearly 10 hours to fix the main line break.

Customers in the Gibbs Ranch area were out of water while the repairs were made.
