Postal Service Box Stolen

Columbia, CA — Over the weekend a blue U.S. Postal Service box was stolen from out in front of the Columbia Post Office.

“If you happened to put some type of payment in that box over the weekend, or if there is some type of important paperwork that you mailed off, you may want to follow up on those items,” says Sgt. Jim Oliver of the Tuolumne County Sheriff’s Office. “You may want to cancel a check, check your credit report, or follow up with companies you sent important paperwork to.”

Sgt. Oliver says there are no suspects at this time. Anyone with information on the crime should contact the Sheriff’s Office. It is unclear when exactly it was stolen. It happened sometime between Friday night and early this morning.
