Candlelight Vigil For Leila Fowler

Valley Springs, CA — A candlelight vigil will be held Tuesday night for Leila Fowler.


The eight-year-old was killed over the weekend at her home in Valley Springs. The Calaveras County Sheriff’s Office is still looking for the person responsible for her death. At this point there are no suspects. Click here to read the most recent story regarding the criminal investigation. The vigil will begin at 7pm at Jenny Lind Elementary School in Valley Springs. It is open to the public.


A shuttle service will run from the Good Samaritan Church on Baldwin Street in Valley Springs starting at 6pm. There will not be parking available at the school.


Organizers ask that you bring a candle and purple ribbon. A memorial fund is currently being set up in Fowler’s memory.
