Arnold, CA — Another one of the Sierra Nevada mountain passes opened this morning.
Yesterday Highway 108 Sonora Pass was opened for the spring and summer season, and today it is Highway 4 Ebbetts Pass. Caltrans spokesperson Angela Deprato says the snow from the light winter has been removed and it is now safe for travel.
Yosemite National Park has stated that Highway 120 Tioga Pass is scheduled to open around Saturday, May 11.
