Fee Free Earth Day

Yosemite, CA – It is National Park Week starting Saturday and it runs through Friday, April 26th, It is also Earth Day, April 22nd. Yosemite National Park is celebrating by giving visitors a break. They won’t charge you to go into the park for a whole week. That’s Monday, April 22 to Friday, April 26th. However, Park Officials say camping fees and all other fees will apply.

Park Ranger Kari Cobb says this year’s theme is “Did you know?”

Cobb says, “It really focuses on inspiring visitors to ask questions about national parks. It encourages them to learn about the parks themselves and activities to do in the parks. The point of it is to really get people questioning and more connected with nature and be out in nature more often.”
