Update: Power Pole Fire Cuts Electricity In Arnold

Update at 5:35 p.m.: PG&E reports the power has been restored to 149 customers in the Arnold area. Further details on the outage area below.

Original post at 3:51 p.m.: Arnold, CA – Callers alerted CAL Fire dispatch to a power pole on fire at Pine Drive near 5th Green Drive in Arnold at around 3:30 p.m. and minutes later PG&E reported that 149 customers lost electricity.

While the utility has not confirmed that a power pole fire is the cause of the outage, it does relay that crews are at the location assessing how to repair the damage.

Those without power are off Highway 4 along Pine, 5th Green, Fairway and Antler drives. The company has posted a 7:45 p.m. restoration time.
