Wet Easter Weather

According to the National Weather Service, thunderstorms will continue to be a possibility over the region Sunday afternoon and evening.

In addition to dangerous cloud to ground lightning, thunderstorms can bring brief heavy rain, gusty winds and small hail.

Wet weather is expected into Monday.

A quarter of an inch to an inch of rain is expected in the Mother Lode.

One to three inches of additional snow accumulation is likely at and above 6500 feet.

Light showers may linger into early next week, but mainly be confined to the mountains.
