Loitering Lands a Sonora Woman In Jail

Sonora, CA — Sonora Police report a woman hanging around a mini mart got busted for drugs. Officers spotted a woman sitting on the side of the Arco gas station/mini mart at 15 Pesce Way on Monday around 5 p.m. Police says the officers recognized her as Roxann Tracy, (30) of Sonora who they have dealt with in the past. Officers ran a check on Tracy and found she had a felony warrant for her arrest on charges of auto theft and possession of a controlled substance.

Tracy was arrested for the outstanding warrant. They then searched her and found a quarter ounce of methamphetamine packaged for sale. Police say each of the individual baggies was labeled with a price and weight. They also say they found drug sales transaction records, cash, and a methamphetamine pipe.


Tracy was charged with felony possession of a controlled substance for sale, felony possession of a controlled substance, and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia along with the outstanding warrant charges.
