Rollover Crash On Highway 49

San Andreas, CA — Emergency crews are on the scene of a flipped over car with three people trapped inside. The car crashed on Highway 49 near the Carroll Kennedy Drive intersection. There is no word on any injuries at this time. The CHP reports both lanes are blocked at this time. Motorists will want to use caution in the area.

Update 4:10pm: The CHP says the vehicle landed on its roof. Two of the people trapped inside have been freed. They are suffering from minor injuries. Emergency crews are still working on freeing the third person in the vehicle. The CHP reports that person is communicating with them.

Update 4:30pm: The CHP reports the roadway is open. They say the last person trapped in the car has been freed. They say one of the people in the car has been arrested and taken to the hospital. The CHP will not say whether alcohol or drugs played a role in the crash.
