Sonora, CA — T.U.D. will begin its annual flushing of the water pipes next week.
The purpose is to flush out any sediment or minerals that may accumulate in the pipes on an annual basis. Weather permitting, it will run through March. Flushing will occur in the Cedar Ridge area this coming Monday through Friday. The work will take place between 8am-3pm. Daily updates and changes to the schedule will be posted at www.tudwater.com.
Customers in the impacted area may experience fluctuations in water pressure. T.U.D. says not to be alarmed if you notice water flowing in the drainages or alongside the road.
