Update: Downed Tree Turns Lights Out For Some Sonora PG&E Customers

Update at 5:15 p.m.:  PG&E has pushed the restoration time for the remaining handful of customers to 11:30 p.m.

Update at 4 p.m.:  The lights are back on for most of the 22 PG&E customers in Sonora. A fallen tree on Golden Dove Lane near Silver Pine Drive, off Highway 108 around 1:30 p.m. resulted in a power outage along Golden Dove Lane and McKibbon Drive. Crews have restored electricity to all but five of those customers. The company posted estimated repair time remains around 5 p.m.

Original post at 2 p.m.: Sonora, CA —  A fallen tree has resulted in a PG&E power outage in the Sonora area.

The pine tree came crashing down on Golden Dove Lane near Silver Pine Drive, off Highway 108 around 1:30 p.m. The utility is reporting that 22 customers along Golden Dove Lane and McKibbon Drive are without electricity. The company gives an estimated repair time of 5 p.m.
