Update: Tractor Accident In Calaveras County

Update at 1:45 p.m.: Dispatch is reporting that the individual involved in an industrial accident at a property in the Paloma area is a 37-year-old man. Additionally, they have clarified that a tractor actually rolled over the man. It is unclear what caused the tractor to flip at this time. He has been flowing from the scene to Doctors Medical Center in Modesto, but no details on his injuries have been released. Occupational Safety and Health Administration or OSHA has been notified of the incident and will be conducting an investigation. Further details on the incident are below.

Original post at 1:30 p.m.: Paloma, CA — Emergency crews are responding to a report of a person being run over by a tractor in the Paloma area of Calaveras County.

The CHP is reporting the accident is at a property in the 5600 block of Paloma Road near Goodfell Road off Highway 26. There is no word on injuries, but an air-ambulance has been called to the scene. Motorists in that area will want to slow down as there will be plenty of activity in the area. We’ll bring further details as soon as more information comes into the news center.
