Scattered Power Outages Remain

Sonora, CA — Throughout Sunday there were thousands of PG&E customers without electricity in Calaveras and Tuolumne Counties.

Most everyone has now been restored, according to the company. However, there are still eight customers without power in Mountain Ranch, six in the Columbia area and two near Tuttletown. PG&E hopes to have the remaining customers restored today.

There was heavy wind and precipitation yesterday, and late in the three o’clock hour there was even a tornado warning for parts of Calaveras County.

Hardest hit areas yesterday, in relation to power outages, were in Valley Springs, Twain Harte and Arnold.
