Update: Winds Will Usher In 2019

The National Weather Service has issued a Wind Advisory for the Sierra Nevada from 9 AM Monday through 10 AM Tuesday.

Winds of fifteen to thirty mph are expected with gusts up to sixty mph.

The gusty winds will blow around both snow and unsecured objects. Trees, tree limbs and power lines could be blown down and a few power outages may result.

Hazardous driving conditions are likely for small cars and high profile vehicles.

A Wind Advisory means that winds of 35 mph are expected and that wind gusts of up to fifty mph are expected.
