Hear From Sonora High School’s New Superintendent

Sonora, CA — Mother Lode Views will feature the newly appointed Sonora Union High School District Superintendent Dr. Mark Miller.

He was hired by the board of trustees in late July. While he is a northern California native, Dr. Miller most recently served the past four years as Superintendent with the Juneau School District in Alaska.

Some of the topics will include his background, the district’s plan to sell excess property like the historic dome and Wildcat Ranch, how technology is changing education, the state of the campus facilities, how finances are holding up, and protecting students from gun violence.
