Drug And Burglary Arrest In Jamestown

Jamestown, CA — A Dodge Durango was pulled over just before midnight after it went through a stop sign, and the deputy made a surprise discovery.

The Tuolumne County Sheriff’s Office reports that a deputy found methamphetamine, suspected heroin, hypodermic needs, prescription pills and stolen property from a previously reported burglary. The driver of the truck, 28-year-old Carlton Schuster of Sonora was arrested for possession of a controlled substance, possession of paraphernalia, possession of stolen property as well as a CDC parole hold for violating his parole conditions.

The passenger, 30-year-old Avenall Ruddock of Modesto, was cited for possession of a controlled substance, possession of paraphernalia and possession of a controlled substance without a prescription.

The truck was pulled over last night at the intersection of 3rd Avenue and Seco Street.
