Update: Crystal Falls Waterline Break

Update at 10:20am: TUD spokesperson Lisa Westbrook reports the water line break was quickly located in the Upper Crystal Falls area, repairs were made, and water has now been restored to impacted customers.

Original story posted at 9:40am: Sonora, CA — Tuolumne Utilities District crews are heading to a reported main line water break in the Upper Crystal Falls area.

TUD spokesperson Lisa Westbrook notes, “Some people that could be effected in that area may be living off Smokey River, Nile River, Suez Canal, Lazy Z Lane, parts of Longeway and Kewin Mill.”

She adds that several customers have phoned in reports of the break this morning, and it could be impacting as many as 500. Those customers could have little, to no, water pressure while repairs are being made today.
