Two Killed In Late Night Highway 108/120 Crash

Jamestown, CA — There was sadly a double fatal accident last night, shortly before midnight, on Highway 108/120 in Tuolumne County.

It happened west of Rushing Hill Lookout Road, an area sometimes referred to as the “rock shop,” at 11:15pm. The CHP reports that an unidentified 59-year-old female from Turlock was driving a 2002 Ford Mustang eastbound and she lost control of the car due to excessive speed. The road was also wet from the rain. The car went into the center median and rolled over multiple times. It went off the highway and it hit several large rocks and a tree. She and her lone passenger, a 55-year-old male from Turlock, were pronounced dead at the scene.
