Wildcats Hoping For Continued Success In Playoffs

Sonora, CA — After opening up the CIF Sac Joaquin Section football playoffs with a 70-48 victory over Hilmar, the Sonora High Wildcats will host Colfax this evening at Dunlavy Field.

Sonora (9-2) is the top seed in the Division V bracket and Colfax (8-3) is the fifth seed. Last week Colfax defeated Orestimba 43-20. The winner tonight will move on to play either Bear River or Ripon in the championship next week. Sonora is the final of the Mother Lode teams in the playoffs as Summerville and Calaveras were defeated last week. Tonight’s game will air live on Star 92.7 at 7pm and stream live on myMotherLode.com.
