Overnight Work Continues At Mono Way And Greenley Intersection

Sonora, CA — Weather permitting, Sonora’s city engineer estimates that two more weeks are needed to complete the widening of the Mono Way and Greenley Road intersection.

Jerry Fuccillo reports that this week work will run today through Friday, from 7pm-7am. There will be lane closures during the overnight hours and traffic control on Mono Way, Greenley Road and Sanguinetti Road. Work this week will consist of general cleanup on the sidewalk, raising the underground utility and traffic signal access points, and getting the layout ready for the final striping and signing.

Also, a new crosswalk will open across Mono Way, from the former Corner Gas location to near Rite Aid. Final work should occur the week of November 20-24.
