Update: Frost Advisory For The Mother Lode

The Frost Advisory that has been issued for the Mother Lode below 2,000 feet and the northern San Joaquin Valley, will expire at 9 AM this morning (Wednesday).

According to the National Weather Service, temperatures as low as thirty-one to thirty-six degrees have resulted in frost formation.

Increasing cloud cover over the next few hours may moderate temperatures this morning.

Sensitive outdoor plants may be killed if left uncovered. Take steps to protect tender plants from the cold.

A Frost Advisory means that widespread frost is expected or is occurring.
