Valley Springs, CA — CHP officers report a second deadly wreck in Calaveras County on Friday.
Around 5:15 p.m. officers were called to a vehicle versus tree accident at the intersection of Ospital and Southworth roads between Highway 26 and 12 in the Valley Springs area. The CHP reported that one person was outside the vehicle on the ground and another was still inside the vehicle. Within minutes the coroner was called to the scene. There is no word on any other injuries at this time.
As reported here, a woman died in a crash on Highway 4 near Angels Camp around 10:30 a.m.
