Suspects Sought In Sonora Robbery

Sonora, CA — Sonora Police report a beauty supply store was hit by the thieves and the public’s help is needed to catch the suspects.

While the two suspects claimed to be armed with a gun, the clerk never actually saw a weapon, according to police. The robbery happened around 3:45 p.m. Wednesday at the Sally Beauty Supply store in the Crossroads Shopping Center near the Safeway Grocery store off Sanguinetti Road. The thieves demanded money and then took off in a tan colored van with black trim.

SPD describes the suspects as two Hispanic males, one in his 40’s and the other in his 50’s. Both were medium height with stocky builds and unshaven. Anyone with information should contact the Sonora Police Department at 209-532-8141.
