Sonora, CA — At tonight’s Sonora Union High School Board of Trustees meeting the oath of office will be given to new board member Kim Norton.

The board will then take time to elect a new board president and a board clerk for the next year. Later in the meeting, the trustees will hear updates on the creation of a fiscal recovery plan to address the structural deficit and how progress is coming on the ongoing school construction projects.

Related to athletics, the district will vote on naming Mike Suess as the girl’s JV soccer coach, and Colleen Drennan as the Concussion Testing Advisor.

In closed session, the district will conduct an evaluation of Superintendent Pat Chabot and hold a separate conference with the school’s Chief Business Officer. Tonight’s meeting starts at 6pm in the Sonora High Library.
