Driver ID’d On HWY49 Crash

Tuttletown, CA — The CHP has identified the motorist involved in a solo-rollover crash that shut down Highway 49 in Tuttletown and halted traffic during the evening commute Thursday.

The driver was Cody Agasihorn, 27, from Angels Camp. The CHP reports he lost control of his 2002 Ford truck, which flipped onto its roof blocking both lanes of traffic on the highway at the Portagee Lane intersection, just before 6 p.m.

As first reported here, officers rerouted traffic in both directions for about an hour, while tow crews worked to remove the wreckage and debris. Agasihorn suffered minor injuries in the crash. Drugs or alcohol were not a factor in the accident, according to the CHP.
