Update: Wet Weather Brings Flood Of Accidents To Mother Lode

Update at 3:25 p.m.: The CHP reports minor injuries in a two-vehicle rollover crash on Highway 26 at Vista Del Lago Drive near the La Contenta Golf Course in Valley Springs. Tow crews have removed the wreckage and traffic is moving freely

Update at 3:05 p.m.: The CHP is reporting a two-vehicle rollover crash on Highway 26 at Vista Del Lago Drive near the La Contenta Golf Course in Valley Springs. An ambulance is headed to the scene although there is no word on injuries at this time. The roadway is blocked.

Update at 1:40 p.m.: The CHP reports a child riding in a BMW was hurt in a solo-vehicle crash on Willow Springs Drive with injuries to his left eye. The child is being taken by ambulance to a Modesto hospital for treatment.

Another accident involving a pick-up with an overturned trailer blocking a lane of Soulsbyville Road at the Draper Mine Road intersection has been cleaned up. The CHP reports the trailer has been removed to the shoulder of the roadway. There are no injuries in this crash.

Original post at 1:20 p.m.: Soulsbyville, CA – The rain is keeping the CHP busy as officers are currently on the scene of two crashes in the Soulsbyville area that happened just before 1 p.m.

Both accidents are blocking roadways and backing up traffic. One is located at Willow Springs Drive where the CHP reports there is a child with a possible head injury.

The other wreck is on Soulsbyville Road at the Draper Mine Road intersection where a pick-up with a trailer attached crashed. The CHP reports the trailer overturned and is blocking one of the lanes. There are no injuries reported in this incident.  We will continue to update on the road conditions throughout the day.
