CCWD Repairs Cause Tap Troubles

West Point, CA – Calaveras County Water District (CCWD) warns customers that work over two days may create possible water outages in the West Point area.

District officials say a planned water outage may impact some customers living on Valentine Hill Drive along with Palmer, Jurs, Bummerville, and portions of Bald Mountain roads. Valve testing going on today (Tuesday, August 16) could cause some short disruptions. Then on Wednesday, August 17 from 8 a.m. and 2 p.m. crews will be repairing a waterline leaving some taps in that area dry while the work is being completed.
