Sonora, CA — The Sonora Area Foundation has named a new member to its Board of Directors.
Dana Mayo, General Manager of J.S.West, is replacing Roger Francis, who recently completed his final term on the board, after serving 11 years. The Foundation reports that Mayo is active in Sonora Sunrise Rotary and the Tuolumne County Business Council. He is also a member of Calvary Chapel. Mayo and his wife Lisa reside in East Sonora.
Other board members include Jim Johnson, Tracy Russell, Carey Haughy, Bob Ozbirn, Gary Dambacher, Peter Kerns, Mark Kraft and William Polley.
The Sonora Area Foundation was incorporated in 1989 and commenced operations in 1990. Since its inception, it, along with its supporting organizations, has awarded over $22.5-million towards community programs and projects.
