San Andreas, CA — A 23-year-old man from Valley Springs died in a motorcycle accident.
The CHP reports that it occurred on New Year’s Eve, along Barbour Road, east of Silver Rapids Road. 23-year-old Kyle Towler was riding a 2016 Harley Davidson and lost control while going into a curve. The motorcycle slid off the side of the road and hit a mail box, decorative rocks, and ornamental plants. The CHP reports that Towler tragically died as a result of the crash.
The investigation into the incident is ongoing, but Officer Rebecca Myers notes that it does not appear that drugs or alcohol were contributing factors. The crash occurred at 10:45pm.
