Traffic Delays For Tree Trimming

Sonora, CA – Motorists could face a longer commute time due to tree work in downtown Sonora.

On Tuesday, Dec. 15, crews from Modesto based Grover Tree Service will be trimming three Sycamore trees in front of the Tuolumne County Probation Department located at 465 South Washington Street. The northbound lane of the roadway will be closed and flaggers will be directing traffic. The work is scheduled from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.  Company officials report that the cut tree limbs will be taken to a recycling facility and either made into landscaping chips or organic compost.

Motorists are asked to take an alternative route if possible.
