Latest On Butte Fire Recovery

San Andreas, CA — Hear about the latest efforts to provide needed services for victims of the Butte Fire.

This weekend’s Mother Lode Views will feature FEMA spokesperson Donna Wiese, Calaveras County Board of Supervisors Chairman Cliff Edson, and federal Small Business Administration Spokesperson Yolanda Stokes. Crews have been working over recent weeks to clear debris from the fire so that temporary modular homes can be constructed for homeowners. There are also still concerns about the lack of internet and phone service available in some of the burned area, and the ongoing threat of flooding.

You can hear the latest developments on several of these topics.
