Update: Suspect Chase Called Off

Update at 3:15pm:  Tuolumne County Sheriff’s Department spokesperson Rob Lyons reports a manhunt for a suspect in the Keystone Ranch and Red Hills area has been called off.

The suspect, who Lyons says is wanted on multiple felony charges, first led deputies on a high-speed vehicle chase in the Chinese Camp area,  and then fled on foot. More details are to be released later this afternoon, according to Lyons.

Original Post at 11:44am: Tuolumne County, CA — Law enforcement officials are pursuing an individual on foot following a high speed vehicle chase.

Deputy Rob Lyons of the Tuolumne County Sheriff’s Office reports the suspect has multiple felonies against him. A perimeter is being set up in the area of Keystone Ranch and Red Hills, off of Highway 108. Additional officers are currently arriving, so you will want to avoid the area if possible.

It is a very fluid situation. More information will be provided when it is available.
