Mountain Ranch Woman Sentenced Six Years For DUI

San Andreas, CA — A 32-year-old Mountain Ranch woman faces six years in prison for a DUI accident that occurred this past May.

The Calaveras County District Attorney’s Office reports that Jessica Lynn Stricler crashed into another vehicle on West Murray Creek Road. Stricler was injured in the crash, as was a passenger in her vehicle, and the driver of the other vehicle. Her blood alcohol level registered 0.13% by weight. Judge Timothy Healy imposed the six-year sentence. It was noted that Stricler had a past criminal history, and a prior DUI arrest.

Deputy District Attorney Milton Matchak prosecuted the case, and calls it a “just sentence,” and notes that the DA is dedicated to aggressively prosecuting DUI cases.
