Construction In Sonora Will Delay Traffic

Sonora, CA — Norlin Street, near downtown Sonora, will be closed later this week.

The City will be repaving the road, and the closure will run from from Linoberg Street to Dodge Street. The work will take place on Thursday from 6:30am – 6pm and Friday from 6:30am – 3pm. Flaggers will be staged at Jackson Street, Yaney Avenue and Bradford Street to direct vehicles around the construction zone. There will still be access to all businesses. Minor traffic delays will be inevitable. No parking signs will be placed along Norlin Street, and the Police Department plans to have violators towed from the area.
