Twenty Years Of Tuolumne’s Concerts In The Park

The Tuolumne City Farmers Market and Concert in the Park series continues tonight and every Wednesday evening through the end of September.

Tony Krieg, Tuolumne Park And Recreation District Finance Director was Wednesday’s KVML “Newsmaker of the Day.”

It’s a chance for neighbors to come together in downtown Tuolumne at West Side Memorial Park and enjoy the weather in a mid-week festive and relaxing atmosphere.

The Farmer’s Market features organic food and begins at 5 PM each Wednesday.

The Concert in the Park features a different group every Wednesday night starting at 6 PM. Most concerts run until 8 PM.

Tonight, The Shades will perform. Next Wednesday, Coyote Hill will be there. All of the concerts are free of charge. Every market and concert takes place rain or shine.

For more information, log on to http://www.tuolumnerecreation.org or you can call 209-928-1214.

The “Newsmaker of the Day” is heard each weekday morning on AM 1450 KVML at 6:47, 7:47 and 8:47am.
