Arrest Following Jamestown Stabbing

Jamestown, CA — A man was taken to Tuolumne County Jail following an alleged stabbing last night.

The Tuolumne County Sheriff’s Office reports that 59-year-old Frank Bell and a 50-year-old unidentified male victim got into an argument over a female. Bell allegedly brandished a knife and stabbed the victim in the leg. It happened in the Twin Pines Mobile Home Park on Wigwam Road in Jamestown. The victim was taken to Sonora Regional Medical Center to treat non-life-threatening injuries. Bell remains in custody on $40,000 bail. He faces a charge of assault with a deadly weapon, and a charge of making threats.
