Shell Road Fire Contained

Jamestown, CA — Firefighters quickly contained a grass fire near Jamestown this morning.

CAL Fire reports that it burned approximately 1 1/2 acres along Shell Road near the Rawhide Road intersection. The cause of the fire is under investigation. No homes or structures were damaged. Be prepared for some activity in the area.
