Columbia’s Automotive Program Gains National Accreditation

Columbia, CA — The Columbia College automotive program has received new accreditation, which will hopefully help graduates find employment in the workforce.

The school reports that the automotive program underwent a rigorous evaluation from the National Automotive Technicians Education Foundation (NATEF). It is in addition to the accreditation Columbia’s program has already received through the National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence (ASE).

Columbia College Automotive Professor Erik Andal says, “During the past year, we have worked closely with NATEF to make certain our program would meet strict industry standards, and now we are enjoying another five years of being an ASE accredited training program.”

Andal claims that students will be assured of a quality education, and shop owners will be assured of getting quality job applicants.
