Internet Outage Restored

Tuolumne County, CA — There was an internet outage that notably impacted enterprise level Comcast customers in the Mother Lode, which includes many large businesses.

It started during the two o’clock hour this morning, and also had a trickle down impact on some other local internet providers. A Comcast representative stated that they found vandalism done to a fiber line. It is unknown where it occurred.  No further details are immediately available.

The outage also caused myMotherLode.com to be down for several hours.
