Ratepayers Words On Watershed Wanted

San Andreas, CA – Heading into the fourth year of a severe drought, the Calaveras County Water District (CCWD) is asking for customers’ feedback on the Mokelumne River Watershed.

On Thursday, January 8, CCWD is holding its third public workshop of the Mokelumne Watershed Interregional Sustainability Evaluation (MokeWISE) program.  It will be held from 7 to 9 p.m. at the District’s Boardroom, which is located at 120 Toma Court in San Andreas.  CCWD officials say during the workshop, ratepayers will learn about the MokeWISE program, including the water availability analysis, project concepts being considered, and project concept assessments.
