Rail Road Flat, CA — Emergency crews are on the scene where there are a tree and power lines down in Calaveras County. The CHP reports the tree came crashing down around 5:10 this afternoon. It is across the roadway blocking traffic in 2700 to 2800 block of Railroad Flat Road. The power line is live according to CHP reports.
PG&E has been called to the scene. There is no estimated time of repair and no information on any possible outages in the area.
Update 6:40 p.m.: CHP reports roadway is cleared.
